6:1 We then, as workers together with Him also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain. 2 For He says:
“In an acceptable time I have heard you,
And in the day of salvation I have helped you.”
Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.
Please remember always the context of this letter. A man has sinned and repented yet they continue to hold his sin against him. This is why Paul now pleads with them. How can they receive His grace but not give it? How can we? Is there a greater sin than taking His grace but refusing it to others? If you are doing that today is the day to make it right. Don't receive His grace in vain.
